Isn't it interesting how many of our favorite pieces become favorites for being used well outside their original scope? The Lat and Vert are there for a reason. I'm assuming it was very much like the original. On the hardware side, the Anthony DeMaria remake had a cool sound (and should for the $15k they cost), but we'd want to barely touch the GR on a vocal, bass or room on the way in. I've owned the UAD Fairchild for about 10 years. I'm not a novice to the Fairchild function and concept, but I've just never had it as my go-to. Yeah, I've also found the lower input to sound better.
